Xiaomi has announced the release of its new Mi Note 2 phablet. Following the success of previous Mi Note device, Xiaomi has improved on many aspects of its previous device and offered impressive new features. Here’s a snapshot of Mi Note 2 specs, release date and price. First thing you will notice after looking at Xiaomi’s Mi Note 2 photos, or in person, is the device’s amazing new premium build quality and high-end phone design. Another thing that will strike you after looking at Xiaomi Note 2 is its uncanny resemblance to the Samsung’s ill-fated Galaxy Note 7 phablet. Xiaomi Mi Note 2 debuts an edge-to-edge display, which is the first for any phone released by Xiaomi. Oh! one aspect it differs conspicuously from Note 7 phablet is that it doesn’t explode like Galaxy Note 7 that compelled Samsung to abandon Note 7 product line altogether.
Sarcasm aside, Mi Note 2 has a shinny glass sheet surrounded by a metal rim with a glass at the back-end of the device runs around the edges to join the metal rim giving the phablet a uniform look. One cannot complain about the Mi Note 2 design.
Apart from some similarities with Note 7, the Mi Note 2 device is packed with some uniquely incredible features. Xiaomi should not be blamed for copying Note 7 design since not many manufacturers could boast about unique device design. To Xiaomi’s credit, they never claimed unique design for their devices. Xiaomi is among the few phone manufacturers, that know how to deliver devices with impressive specs at an extremely affordable price points, which is the reason behind its large customer base.
