Sony Announces PlayStation Now and DualShock 4 USB Wireless Adaptor for PC


Sony has shocked the world with two stunning announcements today. First announcement is concerning PC users who would soon be able to play some of the biggest hits and game titles of PlayStation exclusive platform now on desktops and laptops PCs. And the other announcement is about introducing complete wireless support for the DualShock 4 controller to both PC Windows & Mac platforms via a supporting tool.

In the first part of the announcement, Sony is bringing the PlayStation Now cloud gaming service to PC platform, which will enable players to play best PlayStation titles including Uncharted, God of War and Ratchet & Clank and many others on PC desktops and laptops. PlayStation Now PC app will contain over 400 PlayStation Now games which would surely boost online game streaming service user numbers.

PC game players can now use Sony DualShock 4 controller wirelessly to play games. New DualShock 4 USB Wireless Adaptor costs $24.99. Usually, for playing games via PS4 DualShock 4 USB controller you need a USB cable to connect the controller with console or PC. However, all this has changed with the lunch of a new dongle which allows players to set connecting cable aside to play games without any wires.


This new adapter works with both PS4 Remote Play and PlayStation Now services, which makes DualShock 4 USB Wireless Adapter a compulsory purchase for anyone who is looking forward to play PlayStation games on PC.

To setup PlayStation Now on PC there are a few prerequisites that must be met for successful connection. Make sure that your have minimum 5Mbps or faster internet connection for smooth running of graphics intensive games. Also, make sure there are some PC requirements that need to fulfilled to be able to use new Sony PlayStation services on computer.
