But that didn’t stop leaked images of the Samsung Galaxy S8 from surfacing once again. Here you can check out all leaked images of the Galaxy S8 that have appeared online so far and decide for yourself which one you think will make the cut for the official model. Also, check out what rumored specs are all but confirmed for the Galaxy S8 phone.
In recent months, we have witnessed a swathe of rumors from various sources discussing device specs, showing concept renditions of what the device could look like, when it launches in April 2017. Tech analysts are predicting that the Samsung Galaxy S8 will be the smartphone to beat this year. Rumors are suggesting the device will be launched with edge-to-edge display and no physical home button on the front.
Samsung has set March 29th as the date of unveiling the Galaxy S8 smartphone to the world at a press event in New York. Many tip this year’s phone to be the best Samsung smartphone to date, which will be something if it happens.
The new Galaxy S8 phone is rumored to sport a powerful Qualcomm process, most likely the Snapdragon 835, along with a dual-curved display and upgraded front and back-end camera units.
The device is supposedly coming in two sizes with one being a standard 5.8-inch Quad HD display and a larger 6.2-inch QHD AMOLED display for the alleged S8 Plus model.
Besides these changes in the processor power and display, Samsung is also planning to ditch the home button which will be replaced with the fingerprint scanner attached to the rare end of the device.
As to the home button, nothing more is known as of yet expect it will be embedded inside the front display panel of the Galaxy S8 smartphone as can be seen in the leaked display images of the device.

Famous Leaker, Evan Blass, tweeted images of the Galaxy S8 showing a device with edge-to-edge display.
You can see in the leaked image that the home button is absent from the front panel along with the fingerprint scanner on the rear end of the device.
Another thing that the leaked image clearly shows is the always-on display which Samsung introduced in Galaxy S7 & S7 Edge last year.
We don’t see the whole device in the leaked image but it’s clear that from the half image that there is a headphone port on the device – which makes the mockery of rumors claiming that Samsung is ready to ditch headphone jack following in the footsteps of Apple.
One the back-end of the device, reduced camera bump is apparent, while the two front-facing cameras indicate the Iris scanning technology.
Although we haven’t received any confirmed news as to when will the South Korean tech giant will unveil the Galaxy S8 but the rumors are suggesting that the curtains will be raised at Mobile World Congress.
Alongside, the Galaxy S8, Samsung will also launch updated Galaxy tablet device at MWC. Other Android manufacturers, including LG will also lift the lid on their devices at Mobile World Congress. Blass has also tweeted a leaked image of the upcoming LG G6 to somewhat spoil the party for LG.
And if rumors are to be believed, LG is moving away from the standard modular design found on most of its popular smartphones in the past, which is set to be replaced by the industrial design in LG G6. The LG flagship will be made entirely of metal and glass, which is a sharp departure from the previous plastic and leather body that characterized LG’s flagship devices in the past. It will definitely five the device a more premium look and feel. Moreover, a dual-camera lens is making its way into the LG G6.
We will keep you updated with all the latest news and happening during the MWC event at Barcelona, so stay tuned.
