Samsung Galaxy Note 8 Leaked Specs:
Leaked hardware specs have reached down to us courtesy VentureBeat. As is the case with most modern high-end smart gadgets, the Note 8 is set to get an IP68-certification, meaning the device will be water and dust resistant. In terms of build quality and design, Galaxy Note 8 is likely to resemble the Galaxy S8+ that currently holds the status of the flagship device from Samsung. A 6.3-inch super AMOLED display screen of the Note 8 is slightly bigger than the one on S8+. Screen resolution of 1440 x 2960 with a 18:5:9 aspect ratio is being tipped for the next Galaxy phablet device. Physical dimensions of 162.5mm x 74.6mm and 8.5mm thickness are what you would expect from a high-end device of such nature.
Now moving on to the internal hardware bit the Note 8 will feature Exynos 8895 CPU for international handsets and will house Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 835 for the US market. Battery of the Note 8 might well be similar to the one that caused havoc in the last year’s Note 7 which resulted in global recall, but of course with improved parts and components this time around to avoid similar fate of the last year’s model. The Note 8 has an edge over the Galaxy S8 phones with the higher 6GB of RAM. Internal storage of 64GB can be expanded via external microSD card.
Like mentioned above, the Note 8’s camera will support a dual-camera setup with 12MP main back-end sensor. The camera has an f1.7 aperture and dual-pixel autofocus and the telephoto f2.4 lens capable of 3x optical zoom. The device will be available in Midnight and Maple Gold at launch with Orchid Grey and Deep Sea to arrive a few months after the pre-ordering start. That brings us to our next bit of news released today.
