Read Dead Redemption was released a few years ago and is considered one of the best video games of this century, which is quiet a feat considering the rapid technological advanced we’ve seen since the turn of the century. Red Dead Redemption, the open world is a dynamic game series available only on PlayStation 3/4/4 pro, Xbox 360 / Xbox One. Developer Rockstar decided against releasing Read Dead Redemption for PC, until now. Just when PC users started to lose any hope of ever getting a chance to play Read Dead Redemption on PC, latest announcement could change all that. After years of absence from PC platform, you will finally be able to play Read Dead Redemption on PC desktop / laptop through the PlayStation Now service.

Although the game is still not available for direct PC download or available in DVD format for PCs, but the latest report released by the developers of the game confirmed the Read Dead Redemption Undead Nightmare will be available on PlayStation Now service starting December 6th. This may not be like playing PC exclusive version, but its better than nothing.

Rockstar announced last month that the sequel of Read Dead Redemption will be released next year. Details about the Red Dead Redemption 2 are scarce, except it will be released on PlaySation 4 and Xbox One with a new multiplayer mode. PC Version of Read Dead Redemption is not confirmed yet, however, some industry analysts are suggesting that it will be available for PC in some ported form after it’s released on consoles. We already saw similar trend unfolding with Grand Theft Auto V.

You can play Read Dead Redemption on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. Xbox One users can play the game through backward compatibility, but PlayStation 4 players will have to wait for the final confirmation regarding backward compatibility feature.
