HTC 11 To Feature Edge-To-Edge Display, Snapgradon 835 or 830 Processor, Dual lens Camera Setup & Lots More
In the previous round of rumors to have come out of China, HTC 11 was tipped to resemble quite like Samsung Note phablets in terms of design with a curved screen display incorporated. The smartphone is also rumored to support a QHD panel, with the details about the underlying display technology relatively scarce at the moment.
Every year, more and more smartphone manufacturers are moving towards OLED panels as the main display on their phones. HTC seems to be following the same trend in its upcoming HTC 11 flagship device, which will replace Super LCD5 displays on current HTC phones, according to latest leaks. OLED panels relay more sharp colors with better aspect ratio than LCD panels. OLED panels make viewing content in outdoor settings a treat, you don’t need to increase the device brightness in order to view content easily when outdoors.
OLED panel means HTC 11 will be a lot slimmer than any other current HTC smartphone. But, just like any other technology, certain trade offs are unavoidable; decreasing thickness of the device leaves little room for embedding larger battery as a result of which the battery life may suffers. According to rumors, the HTC 11 will support a 5.5-inch display size.
In previous HTC 11 rumors, there wasn’t much information available regarding the camera of the upcoming HTC flagship device, perhaps all the hype surrounding Samsung and Apple phone’s in the rumor mill has put leaks regarding HTC one on the back burner. With a flurry of latest leaks, this trend appears go to shifting. If latest reports are to be believed, the dual camera setup is almost a certainty in HTC 11. Today’s leak suggests, that the device camera will have two camera sensors in the rear camera, each with a 12MP camera unit. The front facing camera will will feature a 8MP sensor.
The leaked news regarding the upcoming HTC 11 that surfaced in the media today gives us a better picture as to what to expect in the next year flagship device from HTC. As far as the processor in the device is concerned, the HTC 11 is all set to get the Snapdragon 835 processor, in previous rumors it was reported the processor could very well be Snapdragon 830. The Snapdragon 835 processor are famous for their unique 10nm and kyto capabilities which will now rock the HTC 11 device. Edge to edge display is almost confirmed. In the battery department, the device will be powered by a 3,700mAh cell unit together with Qualcomm’s Quick Charge 4.0 feature.
At the Price side, the HTC 11 will be sold around $700. price point. So far HTC has done a pretty impressive job at guarding the device design, since we haven’t seen any leaked images of HTC 11 so far on the internet. But we can be sure that it will be straight out the top drawer just like previous HTC devices. HTC needs a big hit in 2017 to announce its grand return among the top smartphone manufacturers, the company hasn’t been able to deliver top quality phone consistently enough. HTC may want to buck this trend sooner rather than later. What are you thoughts on these latest rumors and reports about HTC 11? Let us know in comments section below.
