Make sure following conditions are fulfilled for successful installation of Kodi.
- A PC running macOS Sierra or Mac OS X.
- Latest version of Xcode installed on your device. You can download it from the MAC app store. Xcode is Apple’s native development environment.
- Download iOS App Signer.
- Download Kodi deb files.
- You need to have an active Apple Developer account. You can use a free developer account, but it require users to sideload apps all over again after seven days all. How To Sideload & Install Kodi on iOS 10 Device without Jailbreak:
1 – Launch the Xcode utility which you downloaded from the link above on your MAC.
2 – On the main Xcode interface screen, select Create a new Xcode project option.
3 – Now make sure on the left-hand panel of the main Xocode interface screen under iOS the Application option is selected. Then select Single View Application from the main interface and hit Next button.
4 – Next, in the Product Name and Organization Name fields, give this new application a unique name to avoid conflict with any other app currently installed on your device.
5 – After that, type an Organization Identifier, this is mostly a reverse domain entry for the original name of the application. For illustration purposes, use com.rp.<appname> and hit the Next button.
6 – Now select the location where you want to save the newly created project file.
7 – Make sure the iOS device on which you want to sideload the app is connected to MAC via USB cable and the device is selected in the top navigation as the destination device in Xcode.
8 – When Xcode presents a warning / error message about the provisioning profile, simple hit the Fix Issue button.
9 – To fix the code signing issue, you’ll need a sign-in account in Xcode. When you hit the Fix Issue button in the previous step and it asks you to enter account login details, simply click the Add button and enter Apple ID and password. Or click the Choose button if asked to select your Apple ID from the drop-down box.
10 – Xcode will automatically detech your Apple ID linked to Apple Developer Account to fix the issue. After this, you will no longer see any error or warning sign throughout the remaining process.
11 – Next, run the iOS App Signer app which you downloaded from the link above. Within the app, click the Browse button just next to the Input File option and select the Kodi deb build file which is provided in the link above.
12 – After selecting the Kodi deb file in the Input File, select the Signing Certificate and Provisioning Profile options from the iOS App Signer app interface.
13 – Click on the Start button after selecting all required information in the fields mentioned in the previous two steps.
14 – Select the name and location where you want to save the output file when prompted.
15 – Let iOS App Signer app do its work and wait until it has finished the process.
16 – Return to the Xcode and click the Window option in the Xcode menu bar and select the Devices option from the drop-down box.
17 – On the left-hand panel, select your connected device and then click on the + button.
18 – Locate the IPA file and select it to save it to your the destination location which you choose above.
19 – Wait while Xcode sideloads / installs the Kodi IPA file to your device. It may not show on the screen as the execution of the process takes place in the background. If the correct options were selected in the Signing certificate and provisioning profile options in step-12, process should complete without any issues.
20 – That’s all.
