If have installed Yalu iOS 10.2 jailbreak on your iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch but changed your mind and want to go back to the official stock firmware, see this guide to learn the easy way to safely remove the iOS 10.2 Yalu jailbreak and delete Cydia from iPhone or iPad without having to restore with the help of a tool called OSRestore X.
Jailbreaking iOS 10 device can be a thrilling experience as it opens up an entire new world of iOS customization. iOS 10 Jailbreak offers endless possibilities of device customization with jailbreak tweaks, apps, and exploits design to help users personalize iOS experience according to their liking.
However, as you start installing more and more Cydia jailbreak tweaks on your device, your device starts to get slower with the passage of time. Some tweaks come half-baked as they are not fully ready for use on a jailbroken device, but some still go ahead and installed them which then creates device performance issues. In such cases, removing jailbreak and reinstalling it could help bring device back to normal speed and leads to fewer app crashes.
Sadly, latest available jailbreak works only on iOS 10.2, and since Apple has stopped signing iOS 10.2, it means you cannot restore your device and re-jailbreak it to iOS 10.2 because restoring automatically updates your device to the latest iOS 10.3 for which there is no jailbreak solution available yet.
But there is a way to get around this hindrance. A Cydia package named OSRestoreX removes Yalu102 jailbreak for iOS 10.2 and restores your device on the same firmware without letting Apple automatically update your device’s firmware to iOS 10.3 during the process. And this is a great news for those who are reluctant to remove and reinstall yalu102 jailbreak out of the fear that it may update their device to the iOS version for which there is no jailbreak available.
In this guide, we are going to show you a method to safely remove iOS 10 yalu102 jailbreak with Cydia and restore your device on the same iOS version. Which means your device will not be updated during the process. After restoring on the same firmware you can fresh jailbreak iOS 10 device to get rid of slow performance and frequent app crashing issues on yalu102 jailbreak.
