Every time fully working iOS jailbreak is released, hysteria and craze of fans of jailbroken iOS devices reaches another level. iOS unlike Android is a closed OS which doesn’t allow users to make many changes to the firmware or the device functionality as is otherwise possible on Android devices via root, custom firmware and recoveries, mod and similar other tweaks. Jailbreak for iOS is similar to root on Android. But all i mentioned, iOS is tightly controlled by Apple which doesn’t like users tinkering and tweaking the operating system to modify devices features according to personal preferences. This makes jailbreaking iOS an extremely arduous tasks, which only the best of iOS developers and hackers can accomplish. Difficulty of the jailbreaking iOS can be gauged from the fact that currently iOS 10 is the latest available firmware but the last fully working released jailbreak was iOS 9.3.3, which is what we are going to cover in this post.
There’s a good and a bad new: good news is if you didn’t upgrade iOS version from iOS 9.3.3 to later versions, you can jailbreak your device using Safari browser on your device and without needing any PC to do so. And the bad news is, if you upgraded to newer iOS versions than iOS 9.3.3, you can only downgrade to iOS 9.3.5 from iOS 10, since Apple has stopped digitally signing iOS 9.3.3 or earlier versions.
So, if your iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch 6th generation is running on iOS 9.3.3, you can see the steps in the guide below to jailbreak your iOS 9.3.3 running device without PC. Initially the iOS 9.3.3 jailbreak was released in Pangu & PP versions for iOS 9.3.3 which required a PC connection in order to jailbreak iOS device. However, now its update has been released which makes jailbreaking easier, so much so, you don’t even need PC for jailbreaking your device. This jailbreak works straight from the Safari web browser.
