Before You Start:
Backup all important device data because the flashing process will wipe out existing data to reset the device back to factory settings. Follow instructions carefully, we will not be responsible for any damage to your device.
Download cm-14.0-201609-UNOFFICIAL-titan.zip file and copy it to device’s internal memory or external storage
Download Google Gapps.zip for Android 7.0 Nougat file and copy it phone’s internal memory or external storage.
Steps To Install Android 7.0 Nougat CyanogenMod 14 (CM 14) on Moto G Second Generation
1 – Unlock the bootloader on your device.
2 – Download TWRP on Moto G and see this guide on how to install TWRP recovery 22.214.171.124 on Android device.
3 – Reboot your Moto G into the TWRP recovery mode.
4 – Go to the Wipe option on TWRP menu to perform a factory data reset.
5 – Return to the main TWRP recovery menu and tap install > locate the ROM.zip file (which you downloaded from above link) > flash.
6 – Swipe to confirm flashing the ROM.zip file.
7 – Now flash Gapps.zip file.
8 – After flashing both files on Moto G, reboot the device into the system.
9 – That’s all.
After the reboot you can start using Android 7.0 Nougat CM 14 ROM on Moto G Second Generation phone. You can access CM 14 ROM for Moto G from the boot menu.
