Niantic has announced that players will be able to earn daily and weekly bonuses in Pokemon GO. This new Pokemon GO feature is going to be integrated into both the Android and iOS versions of the game in the upcoming update. It has become a whole lot more easy to receive daily bonuses in Pokemon GO. According to the latest announcements, daily bonuses will be of incremental nature, however, you can now also get weekly bonuses in Pokemon GO as well, which will be larger and more substantial than daily bonuses. Niantic released all official details about the tasks that will enable you to earn daily and weekly bonuses in Pokemon GO.
We want to provide you a detailed look at a new feature coming soon to Pokémon GO – Daily bonuses! Trainers will soon be able to receive a bonus for certain daily activities, including catching a Pokémon or visiting a PokéStop once a day. You’ll earn a larger bonus if you do this seven days in a row!
Catching a Pokémon every day will earn the following bonus:
- 500 XP
- 600 Stardust
Catching a Pokémon every day for 7 days straight will earn the following larger bonus:
- 2,000 XP
- 2,400 Stardust
Visiting a PokéStop and spinning the Photo Disc every day will earn the following bonus:
- 500 XP
- A number of additional items
Visiting a PokéStop every day for 7 days straight will earn the following larger bonus:
- 2,000 XP
- A greater number of additional items
If you catch a Pokémon at any time on Tuesday local time, you’ll be eligible for the next daily bonus on Wednesday at 12 AM local time.
As you can see above, bonuses can be earned for completing a set of activities with steps which you need to follow in order to qualify for rewards. To motivate players to play Pokemon GO everyday, Niantic now offers enticing new weekly bonuses that require you to complete tasks for seven days straight, after which bonuses reach unbelievable level, you will get massive XP, Stardust and unlock new items.
