In the steps below, we are going to go through a simple process of removing some of the teething problems that came with this beta jailbreak tweak.
1 – Launch Cydia on the your device.
2 – Download MTerminal from the BigBoss repo.
3 – Now, install OpenSSH from the default repository of Cydia.
4 – Note down the IP address: for that go to Settings > WiFi and from the preferences of the connected WiFi network, get the IP Address of your device.
5 – Open MTerminal and type su and hit enter. Type alpine when asked for password and hit enter.
6 – Next, type ssh root@[IP address] which you noted down earlier and hit enter. And then, type the following commands one after the other and hit enter after each command:
chmod 777 /var
chmod 777 /var/mobile
chmod 777 /var/mobile/Library
chmod 777 /var/mobile/Library/Preferences
The commands above are for modifying privileges for certain parts of the iOS file system. chmod 777 are for informing specific directories that read, write, and execute permissions are available to everything.
7 – Wait for the commands to execute and reboot your device.
