Updated version of Cydia Impactor with fix for the error “Peer Certificate Cannot Be Authenticated” is now available to download. Cydia Impactor 0.9.43 update for Windows is released to fix error “Peer certificate cannot be authenticated with given CA certificates SSL certificate problem: unable to get local issuer certificate.”
Jay Freeman took to his Twitter to announce the release of Cydia Impactor update that comes with the solution to the problem that was highlighted by the Windows users of Cydia Impactor.
Those new to the concept, Cydia Impactor is a user-friendly tool that is available on Windows, Mac and Linux. It is used for re-signing and re-sideloading by most modern semi-tethered IPA-based jailbreaks. Most jailbreaks require reinstalling after seven days or so on free Apple accounts. Besides Cydia Impactor is also used for sideloading the non-Cydia Substrate based tweaks and hacks as well as “++” apps on non-jailbroken devices.
If you are not familiar with the process of sideloading apps, we have a complete guide that will explain the complete process: Sideload iOS Apps/Hacks Using Cydia Impactor Without Jailbreak.
You can download the latest version 0.9.43 of the Cydia Impactor for Windows from the official site at cydiaimpactor.com. The Mac and Linux versions of Cydia Impactor remain at 0.9.42 as they are working fine and unaffected by the error.
