Before You Start
- Backup everything on your device.
- Enable USB debugging: Settings > Developer Options > USB Debugging
- A rooted Galaxy S7 phone with a custom recovery installed on it.

Steps to Update Galaxy S7 to Android 7.1.2 crDroid ROM
1 – Connect your phone to computer using original USB cable and move the ROM .zip file to phone’s SD card.
2 – Unplug your device from computer and power it off.
3 – Boot your device into recovery mode.
4 – From recovery menu, select wipe data/factory reset to perform wipe out current data on your device.
5 – Now, select install zip from sdcard > choose zip from sdcard from the recovery menu. Locate the crDroid firmware file and confirm to flash it on your device.
6 – Go back to the main recovery menu and reboot your Galaxy S7 back into the newly installed custom ROM.
7 – That’s all.
